Hello! I'm Cherie...

a work-from-home mom with wanderlust. I have always enjoyed organizing and putting things in order. As a young girl, I remember one of my favorite gifts was clothes for my doll. Yes, the clothes were cute, but I wanted to hang them all up in a row. In college, I loved color coding my hourly schedule as much as exploring the culinary delights of the San Francisco Bay Area.

After graduating with a degree in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, I decided to be a missionary. I had the privilege of pursuing that dream for 10 years in the Philippines, my native country. I had not been there for almost 20 years so everything was new to me. I learned to live with little and be very content. I was blessed with friendships and experiences that remain special and treasured in my heart.

Soon after I moved across the world, I met my husband on a blind date, we married and have lived in 14 homes and five cities, which ranged from 200 square feet to now over 2000 square feet. We've enjoyed life above a garage, in condos, apartments, high rises, a single-story, and now a two-story home.

It was always a nice challenge to live in these different spaces when it was just the two of us to another two and entertaining up to 60 people for different types of parties. 

And with those challenges, I have enjoyed simplifying and creating systems that have worked for my family and me, while always opening our home to others.
